Hey! We’re Josh and Alicia

Thanks for stopping by. We’re the team behind Inland Shores Waterscapes, a small family business based right here in Overland Park, Kansas. What started as a fun little backyard project turned into something much bigger—a real love for building water features that bring peace, beauty, and connection to other families.

It all began with a basic plastic pond we built just for us—a quiet spot to enjoy nature, watch the kids play, and let the dogs splash around (shoutout to Brinkley and River, our unofficial crew members). That simple start sparked a passion, and now we design and build custom ponds, waterfalls, and water gardens for folks all over the area.

We’re proud locals (Josh grew up here—Go BVNW!) and parents of two wild, wonderful kids. We know how important it is to have a space to relax, recharge, and enjoy each other. That’s what we try to create for every client we work with.
